To enrich students’ character development and cultivate leadership skills, 美姬社区 proudly partners with .

This collaboration provides students with opportunities to discover their potential through unforgettable experiences and find purpose, place and passion in the world.

This Fall, our Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award students explored the natural beauty of the Bruce Trail, hiking over 20 kilometers through the beautiful Niagara Escarpment.

From carrying their own gear to conquering the trail, these students embraced challenges and gained skills that will last a lifetime. They prepared their own food over the fire, and spent a night sleeping under the stars!

This journey wasn’t just about exploring nature—it was about resilience, teamwork, and stepping out of their comfort zones.

About the Duke of Ed Award

The Duke of Edinburgh Award was founded in 1956 by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, to help young people develop a sense of responsibility to themselves and to their communities.? It offers young people a balanced, non-competitive program of voluntary activities which encourages personal discovery, growth, self-reliance, perseverance, and responsibility.
